VIRTUAL TANDEM MFP
A shared path. Different clues.
Let the machine tell its story.
Collect reports, then reproduce the reported conditions. A code describes an event; it does not name the failed part.
Start a conversation.
Ask in your own words. The operator shares observations, not an internal diagnosis.

Change one condition. Learn something.
Run a baseline, record a prediction, then compare one variable. Passing a test is evidence about that test.
For a startup complaint, compare feeder position using the machine controls. For paper resolution, verify the same original job with the replacement reference stock.
Test a cause before intervening.
Physical inspections and interventions require isolated power. Remote observations use the fictional machine's approved service view.
An intervention changes only the modeled component. A successful intervention is not yet a verified resolution.
Make your reasoning visible.
Record what you expect before testing, interpret the result, and explain the resolution after verification.
Ending an attempt closes further testing and reveals the case explanation. The instructor's commentary cannot change your evidence score.
